I think Children in year 6 should be amongst the first to return to school. Especially before kindergarten. Year 6 is in there final year in Primary and have to deal with all the Nerves and Transition into going into a new school. 

Kindergarten has another 6 years to  Enjoy primary. 

For Children in Years 6 correct learning is very important. Going into High school the learning becomes more difficult and Children are under more pressure to feel the need to be right or too ashamed to ask for help. 

I watched my daughter struggle starting year 7 last year even being lucky enough to finish off her primary years at school with her friends and Teachers that helped her succeed. 

I don't want to have to watch my son now in year 6 this year go through added stress and struggles of not understanding his work and being able to see his friends before they all make one of the first big emotional roller-coasters in their lives. 

It's not a massive ask, but it really wouldn't hurt to switch Kindy or year 1 to return back to school after year 6 instead of before.
