My daughters husband was required to leave Australia and return to Ghana to renew his visa. They are playing the waiting game and kept in the dark as to when he may be able to return. It’s unfair. He is highly educated, paid tax while he lived here and all of the red tape they have had to go through is nothing more than a money grab by the government.

I fell in love with a brasilian man and his tourist visa got rejected twice, I’m pregnant in Australia and our relationship has been destroyed because I was not allowed to have him come stay with me! Not to mention no one is going to have $7000 to pull out of there asses to give to Australian government in offer to be with their foreign partners !! Australia is forcing us to have to migrate out of our home country and live in a foreign country in order to be with our partners ! My relationship has now ended and I’m left to raise my child on my own because of distance and constant visa rejections !

This man should be admitted into australia to be with his wife. It's inhumane to keep families apart. If they were English they would have been allowed into australia

Hi everyone, the government has start increasing the partner visa application wait time again, from 12 to 13 month in February this year. Now is 14 month of 75 percent processing and 20 months of 95 percent processing for partner visa. Tell me how this is fair to new couple and couple who want to start their family sooner. This government just don't care about its citizen, after paying huge sum of 7, 270 in charges. I apeal to anyone out there who is still waiting on their partner application to be aprove to let us join force and sign as many time as we can to get this decision of keeping partner apart for so long change.

I’m signing this because I have been waiting for my husband visa for over 18 months now and his tourist visa keeps getting refused. The processing times should change ASAP

I think that the current policy is inhumane. If people have good character, excellent education and are married. Why sould there be so many delays. It's inhumane.
