Save the E-Bluey so our forces can stay in touch

E-Blueys are a lifeline for the thousands of soldiers currently serving overseas. They are a simple, secure and most importantly quick way for anxious families and friends to communicate with their loved ones and help ease the separation. There is nothing better than getting a letter and reading it in private - whilst away from home.
Defence ministers want to stop this service on 31st March. Their reasoning is that it will save money and soldiers are using more modern forms of communication to stay in touch. Brig Cash invented this to help reduce the logistics involved in getting letters to soldiers abroad and is still used extensively by soldiers all over the world. Social media is also notoriously insecure and is often restricted in theatre so this will impact massively on soldiers who cannot get easy access to wifi or are not always near to a base. Join me in petitioning the powers that be to continue this essential lifeline for service personnel!
