The government is out of control in 2021 and I fear it's only going to get worse for all the rightful people of this land. This is only one of the many atrocity's of the Liberal government and it's a good thing to support indigenous rights period.

This is disgusting. There should be no question of liability. If I open my tap and leave it running until I cause property damage to adjacent land I am responsible and would be held liable. No individual or corporation, private or public, should be exempt. Where is the justice? I hope I live to see the day that all corporations and companies that have caused this kind of damage, especially environmental, are held liable as they should be!

I am signing this petition because of the devastation I have personally seen from the Churchill River diversion, so many lives lost to the lake because of debris that would otherwise not be in the waters. So many people have lost their livelihood of fishing and trapping and in general living off the land. Kelly Baker is my brother and I can feel the loss that he has gone through. I can see the hurt in many of our Elders eyes because they can no longer work on the land they once loved. Speaking of the once beautiful land will always only be a story to our future children. We can only try to create a picture of how beautiful our community once was, WHY? Greed. Who profits and why do we not matter, we are all part of the human race.
