Since 2018, Tramlines music festival has been located in Hillsborough Park.

The preparation, running and packing away of the festival have a significant and negative impact for approximately four-weeks. This affects the residential, commercial and natural environment of Hillsborough.

The preparation of the event drastically restricts access to what is a well-used recreation space for local residents, including families, sports groups and dog walkers.

The event attracts 40,000 attendees, which overstretches and adversely impacts the residential area of Hillsborough. Vandalism, urination in private gardens, and road blockages due to parking are only some of the repeated complaints experienced by Hillsborough residents.

We, the undersigned, are calling upon Sheffield City Council to move the festival to a non-residential venue for 2023.
