10,000 New Yorkers Want to Move The Ramp

Asphalt Green

Mar 24, 2015 — 10,000 New Yorkers agree – we need to move the E. 91st Street garbage truck ramp just one block to keep thousands of children out of harm’s way. Our message is loud and clear thanks to your signatures.

Because of you, we have reached over 10,000 signatures on this petition! That is truly amazing. We are closer than ever to moving the ramp just one block away to a location that will keep our children and neighborhood safer and cleaner.

At our Spring Fling this past Saturday, over 1,000 members from our community came out to celebrate and play. There was an activity for everyone, including Zumba, a gaga pit, soccer, baseball, martial arts, and art projects. And, our friends and neighbors provided hundreds of signatures for this cause. This unprecedented outpouring of support truly illustrates the passion New Yorkers have around the urgency to move this ramp.

Thank you for all your support. We’ll continue to keep you updated as we learn more.
