Move the Oscars: Hold the 2017 Oscars in Canada or Mexico, where all nominees can attend.

Because of the unjustified ban on 7 countries' citizens entering the U.S., not all nominees can attend the 2017 Oscars.
As an act of artist solidarity, and of the film industry's artistic integrity, the Oscar event should be postponed until the ban is removed. Alternately, the event could be moved to Canada, Mexico, or any other country where all nominees can attend.
It is noted that security experts agree that the ban is ineffective in protecting American lives, as there is no sign that these 7 countries have ever exported terrorism to the U.S., or currently intend to. It is also noted that other effective measures may be taken for this noble cause of protecting American lives: Rather than implementing a ban, our government should instead screen all immigrants and visitors for potential links to crime or terrorism, as it has long done. Also, stricter gun control laws may decrease the astonishing number of 12,000 Americans who die because of gun related violence every year.
