Petitioning Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and 6 others

Move the M11 Sanitation Garage to Randall's Island - Not next to a Cancer Hospital!

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500.

The Department of Sanitation wants to move a garbage garage and diesel fueling station into our community on a site bordered by a church, a school, an athletic field, a cancer hospital, and Harlem's African American Burial Ground and Memorial.

This proposed site, on East 127th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues should be stopped and changed to a location on Randall's/Ward's Island - far away from our children, cancer patients, and our community's most sensitive cultural heritage site.

This petition will be delivered to:
  • Manhattan Borough President
    Gale Brewer
  • Councilperson
    Bill Perkins
  • Speaker
    Melissa Mark-Viverito
  • City Planning Commission
    Marisa Lago
