On February 8th, 2022 the Sacramento Kings shot themselves in the foot by trading away the future of their franchise in Tyrese Halliburton to my new favorite NBA team, the Indiana Pacers. This move sent shockwaves around the league, mostly for being one of the most mindless front office decisions in recent NBA memory. The great people of Sacramento deserve better than this, and I personally couldn’t think of any better news than to hear that the Sacramento Kings are bringing their problems to another place, a place that’s hopefully very, very far away.
