Move the Civil War statues to the Civil War cemeteries and battlefields

Moving Civil War statues to other towns doesn't make much sense. A place where the whole story is laid out is a better choice. The Civil War battlefields and cemeteries would be an excellent place for them. They are designated national parks. People that go, usually, are curious about the Civil War. They would be protected from destruction and in an environment that tells the story of the war.
I live near Antietam National Battlefield. It is a serene and beautiful place, despite it's history. This site, for one, has miles of fields that could be a home for more Civil War statues. The statues belong in a place where they will be in context.
