Online school is very pressuring and hard to focus on. They are unwillingly to work with students to make a comfortable learning environment for students and instead want it to be "just like real school." They need to adapt to the online format so it's easier to adjust to. They are aware of these problems too, but refuse to change. My mother talked to the superintendent about this, to which he replied that they didn't care and weren't going to change. 

Many students feel depressed and worthless due to the structure of online school. We are relying on Google and Schoology exclusively, both are prone to stop working at random and not go online for sometimes hours. This can be very stressful and anxiety inducing. The teachers also assign much more work than they would in normal school, claiming "we have more time to do them" despite all being due in the same time frame. Completely all work in each classes leads up to around 4 additional hours used solely to finish assigned work, although for those with troubles focusing can take up to seven hours. It's also very hard to find any motivation to do the work at all.

Discrimination is also a big hazard in this school. I have personally been harassed for being female, bisexual, and being an advocate for LGBT rights by teachers and students alike. Many of my friends have also been discriminated against for similar reasons. One of my friends was harassed for having mental illnesses by staff. Another was relentlessly bullied for being a person of color by students, but she transferred schools so hopefully doesn't have to deal with this anymore. We brought up this issue to the staff and they just brushed it over.

 Please help us solve the problem of a toxic environment where discrimination is allowed and toxic behavior is normal.
