Our floral installation (located at entry way and below window of 6 Main Street, Maldon 3463) has become a destination spot and has captured the interest of many travellers arriving into Maldon for the first time.

Our intention is to continue to inspire people to visit Maldon and continue to see growth of visitors in such a notable town. The flower installation is created on wire and currently is not permanently fixed to the building, therefore is not altering the current facade in a permanent manner. 

We have drawn inspiration from historic destination spots from overseas (notable mentions: Elan cafe, Peggy Porchen) that draw in crowds of people becoming a destination landmark and a must visit. Most recently, City of Melbourne had their own ‘Urban Bloom’ in November 2020 creating spectacular floral displays and installations to beautify the city streets and iconic buildings such as ‘Flinders street station’ and Melbourne Town Hall.

We are hoping to evolve into our own landmark spot to continue to capture the interest of many new visitors that will arrive to Maldon from recommendations of others that have visited our tea room.
