The water in Moulton Alabama is absolutely horrible. It smells and taste like swamp water or a fish aquarium. According to the city of Moulton, it is due to algae blooms. Moulton City officials doesn't seem to want to fix this properly without taking cheaper shortcuts. Let's try to get the city to do what's right and fix it right the first time rather than taking shortcuts that don't fix anything. They claim the water is safe to drink but it has a horrible taste and smell and a yellowish brown tint to it. People I have talked to say that they smell and feel worse after taking a shower or bath then they did before they even got in the tub. I have tried to drink sweet tea at a local Mexican restaurant and the taste was horrible... Sonic in Moulton was even worse. I ordered a cherry slush and it tasted and smelled absolutely horrible. This is inexcusable and needs to be fixed immediately. The residents pay for the water and expect it to be clean and safe. Hold them accountable make step up and do the right thing.
