Marcella Saffold started this petition to Motorola/lenovo

For the past 2 years my Motorola Droid Z has been having extreme battery drain issues after both the 7.1 and 8.0 updates. Even with replacing the phone, the same issue still occurs. Now I have to keep my phone plugged into a power source in order for the phone to even stay on. I paid for a phone that should be reliable. But it's not. I'm still paying for this phone so dishing out more money for another replacement is not feasible especially if there is no gaurantee this is issue will occur again.

Motorola's course of action was to reclaibrate the battery, restote the phone if that is unsuccessful and if restore doesnt work to send the phone in for repair, saying customers have to pay $150 if not under warranty to do so. However this is a horrible solution as the same issue reoccurs with the replacement phone. No one has money to keep dumping into a phone where clearly it is not operator error. Motorola/Lenovo need to accept responsibility and fix these phonrs free of charge
