Motor Accidents due to deers in Kerry
This petition had 5 supporters
There have too many accidents involving deer on the Kerry roads. Particularly the Fossa to Dingle road , Molls Gap to Kenmare and the Ring of Kerry Road from Killarney to Killorglin.
We call for attention to this matter and for this matter to be addressed as soon as possible. There are too many deer and they are now venturing into areas that that they haven't been seen before and where there is high volumes of traffic.
The accidents have ranged from minor to serious, but the worry is that one may end in loss of human life.
Another factor is that these accidents cause unnecessary damages to the cars/motor bikes and this hikes up the insurance premiums.
Plus not be forgetting the unnecessary killing of a deer, which leaves the driver emotionally disturbed.
