Mosman Dirt Jumps

(Castle cove dirt jumps as a reference) 

A very large space of UNUSED dirt at Reid Park, near the Mosman Pier. The Mosman council has not considered that 57.2% of Sydney homes have at least one bicycle in the household.  

During these covid lockdowns, children/teens are sitting in front of screens, doing online school, with NOTHING to do but ride their bikes and get outside. With the limit of 5km from these children/teens doors, there is nowhere to go but (some houses) the grove bike park in Seaforth (bike jumps). With safe tabletops (and possibly a small gap line), children/teens can progress through the 3 jump lines (everything I say/said is a plan, just something I have in mind.) 

Line 1: Small Table line.

Small table line = Tabletop jumps for younger children (or beginners to the sport and hobby of mountainbiking) 

Line 2: Table line

Intermediate table line, some bigger jumps, not really slopestyle (red hill dirt jumps for reference) but a smooth nice long landing (Long jumps)

Line 3: Gap Jump line

Leaning towards Redhill or castle cove, the gap jump line is for the more advanced riders of the Mosman community. Small gap jumps (quite steep) and converting from the first 2 lines (mountain bike jumps which are more of a speed jump which does not gives you a bit of air but mainly speed) to slopestyle dirt jumps

Use this unwanted, unused, untouched, lonely dirt for something that the Mosman community would appreciate. 

No longer have to worry about property being "vandalized".

Look at the other suburbs, castle cove, seaforth, Belrose, and countless others.
