Moscow is Ready For 100

Moscow is Ready For 100
The City of Moscow has made it clear that combating the impacts of climate change is an important goal. The City was able to reduce its 2010 levels of carbon emissions by 20% as of 2020, and Avista Corporation is committed to providing cleanly generated electricity to the city by 2045.
However, worsening fire seasons, heatwaves, and flooding continue to threaten the health of individuals, businesses, aquifers, and ecosystems on the Palouse. Meanwhile, multiple international scientific committees agree that global carbon emissions need to reach 0 by 2050.
It is time for the City of Moscow to set new goals to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. The more ambitious those goals are, the more secure the future of our community will be. The City Government's job is to act on behalf of you, business owners, community leaders, and individuals.
Use your voices to protect our future – sign the name of your business below to show the City that you/your business are in support of:
1. Moscow transitioning to 50% renewable energy by 2030, and
2. Moscow transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2045.
