Hey, one thing I don't understand is Mosiac itself. They don't own that land, it's given in trust by the government and that's provided that certain guidelines are maintained. One of the guidelines is that the general public shall not be stopped from visiting the forests, lakes and parks located within the lands granted in trust
So, why is that pretty much anytime I try to 4x4 back there to visit my land, and yes your land, ie government owned property, and apparently we as citizens have a share in all government assets, I get blocked by huge gates, or should I find my way I get treated like a criminal. Also, Mosiac is the worst they will actually seize your truck, because they put up signs saying no trespassing, 4x4s caught will be seized. How is this legal? What we need is more First Nations peoples being given stewardship over these lands, then I know that my kids will still have a forest to visit. Now I know that their has to be safety restrictions in place, ie stay away from active logging sites, that's just common sense. I understand the need for logging, but old growth or habitatits for endangered animals should be way off limits. They have so many millions of acres under their grants that they could rotate somewhat and ensure a renewable resource. I've seen a lot of logged out areas lately where they are not even replanting, which is also a requirement. It just comes down to greed. Sad, very sad.

This area should be preserved for future generations. It's irreplaceable. There should also be a protective buffer to protect it from wind and water damage.

Trees are essential to life as we know it. No trees, no humans . . .

The govt has a conflict of interest in approving resource development because industries resource extraction royalties pay for governments operating costs, and this is an unsustainable manner of government funding and liveable climate locally and internationally
