Stop the attack on the Charter School's

Lassen Union High School District (LUHSD) is threatening to bring litigation against the Charter schools of Lassen County. Their attempt is to shut down the competition and force enrollment into their high school.
With a current deficit of $800,000 spending money on lawsuits and lawyers is a frivolous waste of our tax dollars and their limited resources.
Closing the Charter schools will have no immediate impact on their budget concerns. It will however, have a terrible, negative impact on the students and youth of Lassen County. This limits the school choices available for every student and parent of Lassen County.
If a child is bullied or struggling in the mainstream school system, they will have nowhere to turn.
Please help stand for the children of Lassen County. Ask the LUHSD board to not take these aggressive and harmful steps that will damage the youth of our county.
