Many people invested a good portion of their savings to invest in FACEBOOK because of the original suggested price of $28-$35 was a reasonable offer, especially since an IPO is suppose to be the best deal if you can get in on it. Instead Morgan Stanley raised the price $34-$38 and took a lot of people on a ride for an instant negative investment. If the initial price would have been left at $28 then there wouldn't have been an issue seeing as the stock took a dive to $21 which is quite a loss from $38 or at even a higher price that others have bought the stock at. This just made the Employees of Morgan Stanley and Facebook wealthy at the expense of others.
