Help us rebuild the Morgan Tennis Courts
0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,500.
Morgan Tennis Courts are nestled within Minnehaha Creek Park, part of a regional system of parks in Minneapolis. The courts are positioned within a prime location in the Lynnhurst neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Morgan Courts provide hours of tennis for neighborhood and community members, and also serve as the home courts for Washburn High School Boys’ and Girls’ tennis teams.
- Over the past few years, Morgan Courts have fallen into serious disrepair.
- Recreational tennis players and the Washburn teams have stopped using the courts, due to concern about the potential for injury.
- The Washburn Tennis Boys’ Tennis Team, which currently rosters 45 boys on a no-cut team, was forced to relocate 2017 varsity practices to a Bloomington park.
We need your HELP - the courts need to be torn out and rebuilt! Please sign our petition to show the Minneapolis Park Board & USTA (United States Tennis Association) how important these courts are to our community.
