I feel there is a big issue in the majority of towns & cities whereby there are very few or no dog parks at all.

In our town of Ipswich there is only one public dog park of which I know. I feel we need more and it would be great for dog owners to have an area in the parks to be able to let our dogs off their leads without the worry of members of public and especially children who may not like or just scared of dogs.
I am a dog owner of two dogs who are well behaved off their leads but in some parks dogs are not able to be off their leads so I tend to keep them on a lead at all times.

Dog parks are a much better idea in order to allow your dog(s) to run around without causing upset for anyone. These parks are also a very good way to socialise dogs without the worry of them running off as the park would be secure. In Ipswich there is a dog park on Newbury Road which isn’t massive but just the ideal size to accommodate our furry friends. 

I think more dog parks would please not just the dog owners but also other members of the public. If you want to see more dog parks please sign this petition!!
