Hi all im trying to get some new dog parks in the southern area. With covid 19 alot more people now have dogs and there is not enough areas to go of lead. I have taken my dog to the one at Huntfield Heights 5 times and every time she has been attacked due to over crowded. I was thinking of the reserve on cottage lane hackham. It never gets used because 50m up the road is a playground. The only dog parks near hackham is at Aldinga and Happy Valley which im sorry to say is not enough and to far apart. I have already contacted onkaparinga council and they say they will look into it. But we all know how that works its very slow. So im sending all the information to the MP Amanda and as many other people I can find to get this done.

Remember a dog is not just a pet its family and we all do what we can to protect them. And over crowded parks are NOT SAFE for dogs or owners. Trying to pull apart fighting dogs is just crazy
