Problem
We are requesting that the Wellington outdoor skating rink be flooded. This rink has not been flooded in the past two years due to “low usage”. We only have smith rink in the area and when you go there it is always very busy. The smith rink is too far for kids to walk and doesn’t make sense to go to when there is a rink much closer to them.
Solution
Since then the area has grown tremendously and includes many families with young kids. Besides the rink at smith street this is the only other rink that is in the area. In order to prove there is a need for the rink to be flooded we need to get a list of names to support the cause.
