We call upon Moonee Valley City Council to prioritise in the immediate short term the building of a skate park at Boeing Reserve in Strathmore Heights - as identified as a priority in the 2014 Boeing Reserve Master Plan.

We further call upon Moonee Valley City Council to prioritise further the other upgrades in the Master Plan - including but not limited to a mixed use Basketball, Netball and Tennis Court and upgrades to the Pavilion and Facilites on site.

2020 and 2021 has highlighted a need for outdoor spaces that are youth and family friendly, and with the recent success of Australian Olympians in Skateboarding and BMX the popularity of these sports has never been higher.

Council has already identified these priorities and it’s time that these facilities were built.
