PETITION TO THE City of Montreal

WHEREAS Transportation accounts for 44% of Quebec's carbon footprint, and the fossil fuels used for transportation contribute to the growing climate change issue. Climate change brings a host of problems, such as more extreme weather, rising sea levels, food insecurity and an increase in health issues. For this reason, Quebec should be turning towards cleaner forms of transportation.

TO add child size bicycles to the BIXI Montreal bike sharing system. Bikes offer a great, clean way to get around and have health benefits as well. For this reason, it is important to make bike sharing systems available to all ages, including children. In this way, families can use the bikes as a form of transportation around Montreal.
