In relation to a story that broke in the Montgomery County Gazette on October 2, 2019 (http://emcgazette.com/breaking-news-montgomery-isd-investigating-hazing-assault-p3331-174.htm Numerous parents have expressed that they believe Dr. Beau Rees is the reason for:

1.) Halting information regarding the assaults from being given to parents until 5 days after the incidents occurred.

2.) Encouraging the investigation to remain under school jurisdiction, and all punishment to be handled by the District even though the event occurred off-campus and during non-school hours.

3.) Delaying actual investigation of the event until 2 days after the assault occurred.

4.) Keeping various Montgomery ISD staff and Board in the dark about the incident.

At the behest of our readers, the Montgomery County Gazette is sponsoring this petition, demanding the immediate resignation of Montgomery ISD Superintendent Dr. Beau Rees, as well as the case to be handed over in full to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office for full investigation without further delay.
