Let Immigrants Facing Deportation Receive Legal Services in Montgomery County, Maryland

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Montgomery County has introduced a proposal to provide legal representation to county residents facing deportation. If enacted, this decision would not only offer due process as granted by the Constitution but also help keep families together. In the Baltimore Immigration Court, Maryland residents who had an attorney where 4x as likely to win their case -- imagine the impact on MoCo families!

Montgomery County could join close to 20 other jurisdictions across the nation that have adopted universal representation programs for immigrants and community members, making Maryland one of the most inclusive places in the country.

Tell the County Council you want county residents facing deportation to receive legal services -- before the May 1 hearing.
