Remove the tolls on the Hyw 242/I45 Flyovers

On Thursday, May 3rd, over 100 residents from the Harpers Landing, Harpers Preserve and surrounding residents and community leaders met to discuss mobility and traffic concerns over the busiest intersection of Montgomery County and the impact to these communities.

Of the items and suggestions discussed, one of the more pressing issues is the requested removal of tolls to increase utilization of the flyover ramps and reduce traffic at the 242/I-45 intersection.

During the community meeting (which had Commissioner Clark of Precinct 4 in attendance), it was announced that in order for the TOLLS to be removed on the 242/I-45 fly-overs, we must all let the other commissioners in Precincts 1, 2, and 3 know that there is a huge public outcry urging them to vote to remove the tolls on the ALREADY PAID FOR fly-overs. There must be a passing vote among several commissioners which will be held on Tuesday, May 8It wouldn't hurt to also reach out to County Judge Craig Doyal as the commissioner in attendance at the meeting informed the residents that Judge Doyal's vote acts as the tie-breaker on the matter.

We would appreciate all residents, business owners and community leaders to endorse this change and share this among your network of friends, colleagues and family in an effort to ensure the elected officials are aware of the feedback in the community.

**AN IMPORTANT SIDE-NOTE... Commissioner Clark is facing a run-off for the Precinct 4 seat versus James Metts. Metts is pro tolls. We also encourage you to reach out to these elected officials to share your support:
