Confirmed victory

Two loose dogs attacked and killed a smaller dog on his morning walk on Thursday, March 21. Although the dogs have been declared dangerous and their owners fined, the dogs are are capable of escaping from their unfenced front yard, holes in their back fence, or their unsecured front door. We the undersigned neighbors want these dangerous dogs removed from our community.

Letter to
Montgomery County Animal Control
We request that Animal Control relocate the dangerous dogs at 256 Park Avenue, Takoma Park. The owners have not secured their property: the front yard lacks a fence, and there are holes in the back fence.
Many local children and dog owners walk past this property, located on a main thoroughfare en route to two elementary schools. Please act to prevent the next tragedy.
