We, the undersigned parents of students at Montessori School of Huntsville and members of The Montessori Society of Huntsville, hereby petition the Board of Directors to The Montessori Society of Huntsville to immediately revoke the update made to the “21-22 Illness and Covid Addendum Mask Policy” on Sunday, August 1, 2021 stating that “masks are optional for all students and staff”, revert the Mask Policy to the most recent directive (“masks are optional for all students and vaccinated staff and required for all visitors inside the school and unvaccinated staff”), and schedule a special meeting of Society members per Article VII, Section 2 of the Bylaws of the Montessori Society of Huntsville in order to openly discuss the “21-22 Illness and Covid Addendum Mask Policy” and the Society’s primary Covid response guidance source.
