In the last few years, student activists have been quite successful at making strides towards greater racial equality. Students have led the charge to increase diversity on campuses, rename buildings, create new curriculum requirements, and open Diversity Centers, as well as actually removing key administrators from their work. This petitions is one of the steps to get a new equality between all students. I would like to show that students with disabilities face access challenges such as no wheelchair access and no tactile labels, pre-made not movable chairs with tables, no elevators in some buildings - sites of "access/inaccess." Problems need to be fixed. Learning should be easy.Students with disabilities face access challenges every day to typical access to auditoriums, floors, back door entries, cafeterias and most important science labs. Access barriers may prevent a student from:gaining knowledge, demonstrating knowledge, fully participating in lab activities. This petition is made to design an “action” to address the problems uncovered and advocate for increased access. Please sign it!
