We Need a Student Printer in Howard Hall
As students in music, we need to print for nearly every class. From practice exercises for applied lessons, to worksheets for music theory, to beginning exercises for tech classes, every music major needs a printer on the weekly, if not on the daily.
The closest printer is in the library. Although the library printers are fast and effective, with a music major schedule, there is rarely time between classes to make the trek to the library. A student printer in Howard Hall would maximize our homework and practice time by cutting down on time spent walking to the library. Dorm printers, while accessible for on campus students, are expensive and often out of service.
Many other degree programs offer student printers in their buildings. All we ask is that the School of Music provide music majors with accessible printing. Printers in Howard would allow music majors to have more time to practice and become better musicians.
