My giving name is Michell but i want to change it to Lucille. The reason is the name is what my mother and father gave me and it holds a lot of bad memories growing up. My father from when i was 4 till 9 did things a father should never do to his own child, my mother was neglectful and abusive. When i was 16 till 20 her 2nd husband assaulted me and impregnated me twice unwillingly. I ran away when i was 20 years old to get away from them and signed my 2 boys to state so they can have a better life and never find out their father was actually my stepdad. She denies it when i confront her and every time i hear my name it triggers horrible memories for me. So please, i beg you to help me change my first legal name so i dont have to live with the torment anymore. It just affects my mental health horribly. I have went to therapists and they said to get rid of anything that triggers the memories and my first name is the last thing to get rid of so please for my mental stability help me. Thank you
