Keep warehousing and parking lots off of property that borders a residential area!

Brasusa Construction, Inc has made application to the Monroe Township Zoning Board of Adjustment for use of the land along side Englishtown Road. They would like to expand their current landscaping business (with frontage on Union Hill Road) to include 3 mini warehouses totaling 42,000 square feet. The applicant also proposes to renovate an existing building located on the property to be used in conjunction with the landscaping and hardscaping business. This property is identified as Block 37 Lot 12 as shown on the Tax Map of the Township of Monroe.

This is of major importance to my family and neighbors because this will be built in our BACKYARDS. Our fence separates Manalapan from Monroe and this will literally be built on the other side of the fence according to the Tax Map. There is also a stream on this property which FLOODS often; the worst being during Hurricane Irene in 2011 where the development behind this land was completely flooded and people had to be evacuated by boats. How is building warehouses going to alleviate flooding in the future if they will be taking out thousands of trees and plant life??

This could also bring in much more traffic with trucks and tractor trailers coming onto this property from Englishtown Rd to Union Hill Rd - an area where there is a lot of congestion already.

Please help me in signing this petition so I can present this to the Zoning Board at the Hearing to not allow warehouses and parking lots to built on this property!
