As you can see from the link above, there has been a request for conditional use of the agricultural property on Smith Road to be used as a campground. This will be used as an RV/trailer park. This has great potential to bring down property values, cause excess traffic, unwanted noise and pollution to our quiet area. We are concerned about the possibility of fires from campfires, crime, and pollution to our beautiful Rocky Creek. We will be sending this petition to planning and zoning and are asking for your help. Please sign the petition and share it with your neighbors and friends in the community. 

Also it is important to show up to the meeting on Oct 28th @ 5:30 pm and Nov 5th @ 6:00 pm. We chose Monroe County and Forsyth for its upscale economic growth near Riata and River Forest along with other new and thriving businesses located in the city. This new ordinance is NOT why we came here.
