The State Board of Education left most details and decisions up to each county BOE about return-to-school protocols but says children in grades Pre-K-5th grade MUST be masked and 6th-12th graders can choose whether to wear a mask.  
NO, NO, NO!

When anyone takes the power of choice in an educational environment away from a minor and his/her parent(s), we are not living within our Constitutional freedoms.  Our and our children’s inalienable rights, basic human rights, are being trampled upon! 

PARENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE and NO CHILD SHOULD BE SHAMED OR SHUNNED if he/she decides not to mask.

It’s our Constitutional Right to not wear a face covering. Many of us have never contracted COVID and have never worn an mask, and many have worn masks and have contracted it anyway.  There is NO substantiated evidence that masks have ever worked to reduce the transmission of any variant of COVID.

Tell the Mon Co. Board that you are fed up and your child will wear a mask ONLY IF YOU DECIDE he/she will and NOT otherwise.  Period!
