Since the end of the pandemic, Grill Works at Monona Grove has not reopened. The School District instead purchases hundreds of dollars worth of unhealthy Pizza. Monona Grove has a set of grills that could be used towards making Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and healthy low fat hamburgers. It is not only a price issue but a health issue. Each slice contains 38.2g total carbs, 35.7g net carbs, 13.4g fat, 13.5g protein, and 328 calories. Also students have the options to get 2 slices which that in general is very unhealthy. I ask the Monona Grove School District to reopen Grill Works for financial and health reasons. Thank you for considering signing and I hope you do.
