Let the voters of the Democratic Party choose our candidates.

In the past, it has been the practice of the Monmouth County Democratic Party to put only one candidate per office on the party line on the Primary ballot.  Voters aren't given a choice.

Instead, we would like to have a choice in local elections.  For every office, please do your best to put at least one more candidate than openings on the party line in every Primary Election.  So, for example, at least two candidates for mayor and three candidates for council. 

We believe that all the members of the Democratic Party should be involved in choosing who will be on the party line for the General Election.

We the voters want a choice!
