Our children are bombarded daily with hundreds of thousands of entertainment options.  Between magazines, television, music, and the Internet the choices are mind numbing.  Many of these choices are inappropriate for children.  The government is not going to monitor what our children our viewing, nor should they.  Only we can decide what is appropriate for our children. 
As parents we must pledge to take responsibility for their viewing habits.

 Have set rules for what is unacceptable to view and listen to.  Chat with your children about what they watch and listen to.  Know what they watch and listen to.  They may complain you are being intrusive, but they will know that you care and are interested in their lives. 

This will have a profound impact on our nations youth if will all band together and be responsible for them.  V-Chips wont cut it anymore.
