COVID-19 has affected many lives, especially since school has opened back up. Children have been failing school semesters because they were in quarantine and couldn’t get their school work finished. Of course covid affects everyone differently, some worse than others, which is why we should shut the schools down. Imagine hardly being able to get up and having to do sheets of homework that need to be done. Shutting the schools would help with so many issues. Children don’t have to be in such risk of getting sick. Masks do however help with not getting COVID but it doesn’t stop it completely, since it is not required to wear masks anymore, it’s way easier to catch the virus. Teacher’s miss days of school because they or their child has been quarantined, leading to students not understanding subjects. Half the school has gotten covid already, staying at home would help with lowering the risk of COVID. What also makes it worse is that the hospital’s let the covid patients get out of Quarantine 5 day’s before they are in good shape to go out. But with the hospital’s doing this it will just make covid even worse by letting them out 5 day’s earlier is simply not smart idea because all its gonna do its spread out more than it has ever been. there can always be virtual online i mean other states do it such as Washington and California , Etc. i think the school’s need to wake up and focus on the students health other than their education.
