Rescued animals NEED Places that understand and care for their needs anywhere in the world. These places are vital now more than ever before, when people are giving up animals after getting them during lockdown 1.0.
We have a collie that was born in a rescue centre in Wolverhampton.

This is the only lifeline for these animals. It must not close.

Hello. I can’t see the logic in closing down these premises when there are animals in need. Whichever Council is responsible needs changing. .

The RSPCA have shut 4 centres in this area in the past 6 months, one being a horse centre. Centres likr this are needed to fill the void that these closures have created

We are shameful in our behaviour of destroying habitats that supports those who cannot protect or protest for themselves.

Councils have a duty in law to take account of everything relevant before taking any decision. If the Council in this case is refusing to meet with you then it is in breach of the law and at risk of legal challenge via judicial review. Find a friendly lawyer who will write to the Council and threaten this if they will not meet with you!
