Minecraft alone is a great game, but it could be ten times better if you had the ability to code and learn how to program mods into your Minecraft world without being limited to addons. Minecraft Education Edition has this feature, but it is exclusively to schools (only participating schools) and students that are eligible to play it in school. This code builder from Education Edition Minecraft has so much potential, but the Education Edition switch in settings (in Bedrock Edition) only allow a few blocks from the exclusive Education Edition, which is convenient, but somewhat useless. However, the exclusive features include periodic element blocks (helium, sulfur, carbon, etc.), chalkboards, and font moderation -- but no coding.

Minecraft may not be recognized as educational, but in reality, it can be very educational if used for intended purposes. Why only be limited to access Education Edition features, such as code, at school? Imagine how much impact a feature like this could have on students, even adults, who loves being creative and sociable in a programming community! With this petition, we will help Minecraft strive into a very unique and fun way to learn how to program with blocks of code or actual JavaScript! This would also benefit Mojang and Microsoft due to more people getting involved with creativity like never before in Minecraft! Think of how many people will play Minecraft if there were more mini games created by the community, or simply want to learn how to code in their favorite game.
