Keep online exams for 9th graders

Keep online exams for 9th graders
Why this petition matters
On the basis of the continuous appeal of parents and children, we request the school to conduct online exams of children of 9th grade. Following are some of our concerns:
The major issue right now is that students have been attending online classes and appearing in exams in the online mode throughout the year. Additionally, the results of class 9 aren't very important in the overall scheme, however, they are imperative for the morale of the students.
The syllabus has been rushed throughout the year due to the delay of the board results-and online lectures during the pandemic definitely did not have the same impact as offline lectures. This is causing high levels of anxiety and stress among the students, who weren't mentally prepared for offline exams like 10th and 12th graders-and the confirmation or official notice has not been mentioned in the date sheet.
Of course, offline exams pose numerous health concerns as well. MSBK has a huge population as compared to any other school and thus there is a lot of exposure. Also, many students are not fully vaccinated and many have not even taken the first dose due to prior infection making them even more vulnerable to contracting Covid. Requiring them to take offline exams, without giving an option, is extremely unfair and inconvenient. For children living with grandparents who have heart conditions, it is a matter of life and death for them, exposure to the virus can be proven very risky.
Thus, we request the school to keep the exams in the hybrid mode, if possible, with the original dates, and give an incentive to the students who come offline.
