Stop the deportation of Ishmael Torres Rodgriguez
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
On the weekend of February 18th 2017, a gentleman by the name of Ishmael Torres Rodriguez was arrested for consuming alcohol in the area of Lacy Springs, AL. Lacy Springs is what is considered a "dry" county, meaning that consumption of alcohol is illegal. Because of this, Ishmael...who was brought into this country by his parents illegally when he was a baby...is now under arrest, and under threat of being deported. Ishmael has lived in Alabama all his life, and works hard as a painter, providing for himself.
Our hope is that...with your help...we can convince Governor Robert Bentley, Congressman Mo Brooks, and State Attorney General Steve Marshall to take a stand, and make an appeal on behalf of Ishmael. Ishmael should not have to be punished because of the decisions made by his parents in order to give him a better life. Please, stand with us to help someone in need!
