Jefferson Middle School 8th graders have the option to take hip hop studies, guitar/ukelele, orchestra, choir, and band, but why isn't piano apart of those? Piano is just as important, and students should be given an equal opportunity to participate. Jefferson should have a separate music class for piano, as the small tidbits we learn in choir don't count.
