Local municipalities & States need more say and involvement when it comes to railroad expansion. 

Maryland Heights, MO our neighbors are attempting to expand a single short line railroad track and build 6 additional tracks and a vehicle holding yard directly next to my property.

We are extremely concerned that we were not properly notified and that the original site plan did not show accurate redevelopment plans. In addition to the physical and environmental impacts that may occur. 

Please help us better regulate Railroad expansion so the citizens and residents of Missouri don’t have to suffer.

Help us stop Mayor Mike Moeller and the City of Maryland Heights from expanding their short line railroad located in the Missouri River bottoms that is located in a Non-Urban Area directly next to our homes in a flood plain and near parks and a nature preserve.
