Unnoticed anxiety faced by high schoolers has been an ongoing issue for many years. It could contribute to students having panic attacks at any given time of the day, and make them feel discouraged about their academics. Our field research showed that 58.8% of high school students never talk about their stress and that 32.8% of high school students strongly agreed with implementing more programs that deal with the importance of mental health. A solution that we came up with was to have our school carry out The Grounding Technique, a practice of mindfulness that can reduce stress levels, for the first three minutes of different classes per day. Our mission is to gain enough support in order to make this possible.
