Why this petition matters

Started by Roger Kempa

Baseball is America's National Past-time for all Americans. MLB's recent decision to pull the All-Star Game from Georgia is the result of divisive race baiting political pressure, and false information about Georgia's voting integrity law effort.

President Joe Biden was incorrect in describing the Georgia law "banning volunteers from delivering food or drinks to voters in line." He further referenced the Georgia law divisively as "This is Jim Crow on steroids;" based upon incorrect information.

Georgia's law, in fact, does not prohibit food and water in the line. It simply prevents activists from delivering food and water while interacting with voters. If MLB does not want to be used as a political ploy, explain alleged voter suppression:  MLB needs to present the actual facts of the Georgia law to the American people that justify pulling the All-Star game from Georgia, which in addition, will harm baseball fans, local workers and local businesses; including economically.

Kindly reverse the call to pull the All-Star Game from Georgia. Your current decision is not fact based, but is political and divisive. You can correct this wrong.

Given limited alternatives, Americans will find a new National Past-time, not attend or watch games, and not purchase MLB related products. We will boycott MLB.
