Why this petition matters

Started by Jose Gonzalez

1993 West Blake will have a negative impact on the quality of life for the residents of North East Elysian Valley if it becomes a restaurant/bar/live entertainment venue with the proposed alcohol licence and music until midnight.  The streets will be cluttered and congested with delivery trucks and cars in a neighborhood not designed for this type of traffic or establishment. There is an Youth Community Service Center (https://www.evucsc.com/) a mere 75 feet from the development where high school kids will get in and out of school at the hours of the restaurants operation.

This is a family neighborhood and we did not ask, nor do we need this type business in our community. What our residents will have is to deal with the burden of loud music, foot, and vehicle traffic til 12 am 7 days a week. Absolutely unacceptable.
